What came first?
  "I"?
  "love"?
  or "you"?

  Nadeem says love came first:

  "I" could never find love, "I" is too busy
  existing and being full of "I"-self.

  "You" is lost, always looking for his center, 
  his subject.

  Love came first, incandescent transcendant Unity
  who split Herself wide open
  to make cats yowl and continents rumble
  in this crazy dream dance.

  Forget subject and object,
  drop all your nouns that kill,
  all your adjectives and adverbs that hedge and hide.

  Dearest, stop dangling your participles in this Ocean.
